As the new sponsor of the “All About Animals” section of Waxahachie Journal, Bow-Wow Barbers is excited to announce a new column. Grooming Tips! will feature advice, hints and tips to keep your dog’s coat healthy and matt free. Be sure to visit our website for more information about our services, products and your pet’s care: www.bow-wowbarbers.net
lAways be sure to brush and comb your dog, removing all mats and tangles, BEFORE the bath. They will be much more difficult to remove after bathing.
Be sure to use the proper tools such as a quality brush, comb and an oil detangler designed specifically for use on animals. We recommend detanglers made specifically for animals such as, Eqyss Surviver or Cowboy Magic. Never, ever use a human product on your pet, not even baby shampoo!!! Humans and animals have a different ph level and their skin care products are not compatible.
Preparing your Puppy for GroomingPuppy pampering can start as early as 12 weeks, once the full round of puppy shots, including rabies, has been given by your veterinarian. Taking your puppy before shots are completed put both your puppy and all those entering the grooming facility at risk. Bow-Wow Barbers Click Graphic Above for more information
