Wanna Be A Historical Detective? Its FUN We recently received a letter from one of our readers in Georgia letting us know her family was originally from Waxahachie. Along with the letter she sent a photo of her family's home which she says was located
somewhere in Waxhachie. We have been trying to see if this house is still standing, but have not been successful in finding it. If any of our readers would like to embark on a Mystery Historical House Hunt ,here in Waxahachie, to see if they can find this house, if it still exist, or any information regarding it, I am sure this lady in Georgia and our local historical organizations be very appreciative. Plus the Waxahachie Journal would publish your story on how you found it. If you find out anything you can contact us at

Our Mystery House Detectives Ken Justice - Midlothian Hi. You can see why I did a double take on the Mystery House on the Waxahachie Journal website. Here's one in Midlothian that I've always wondered about. Similar in many respects, but not the same house unfortunately. Until I looked up my photos of it, I thought I might have solved the mystery, even tho it's in Midlothian. At least it looks like it might have been designed or built by the same architect.
