Cure for Summer Boredom
By Mary A. Flowers As summertime wanes and all the reruns of the last fall's TV shows have been enjoyed, there must be something for all us computer geeks to do. Well, there is. Mumbo Jumbo Games has put out a sequel to their game Chainz. Chainz2 is now on the market and features four unique game modes. Concentration and logic skills are put to the test in all the game modes. One of the modes uses the premise of connecting at least three links together to form a chain, thus, eliminating them from the game board. In Chainz2, there are exploding bombs, lightening that can help wipe out an entire row of links, multi-colored links with special powers and links that have tricks to help the gamer complete connection of problem links. Another game option is the puzzle mode. As you go through the different levels, the puzzles grow progressively more difficult. These more difficult puzzles would keep a teen or adult happy for hours. There are less difficult levels for the younger set as well as the casual user. If you just want to pass the time, there are modes that allow for linking and eliminating links to reach goals. Chainz2 is sold at Walmart and is also available online for $19.95 for both Windows and Mac users at www.mumbojumbo.com. Now you can challenge your brain and have fun at the same time!
